The Oasis Ball is all about celebrating our industry, and raising money for The Oasis Project – an initiative of the Western Australian advertising, media and communications industry that provides support to the Salvation Army’s Crossroads West programme. This is a special programme run by the Salvos for young people whose home lives are severely disrupted by their parents or guardians alcohol and drug addiction, physical abuse or abandonment.The focus of the Oasis project is Oasis House in Mirrabooka, but funds raised support a range of initiatives aimed at giving these young people a safe and stable environment in the first instance, then help them make the transition to independent living.
